Rouge Domaine de l'Horizon 2019

The Cotes Catalanes Rouge from Domaine de l'Horizone is born from a blend of Carignan and Grenache Noir cultivated on the estate's oldest vines, some over a hundred years old, with very low yields between 5 and 10 hectoliters per hectare. The grapes, partly whole bunch, macerate for two weeks with delicate extractions, then ferment thanks to the indigenous flora in 600-liter barrels, where the wine then ages for a year on the fine lees. The result is a deep and complex interpretation, with soft tannins and a broad and enveloping structure, with hints of ripe fruit, balsamic notes, and toasted hints. Perfect to accompany a braised beef.
