The Franciacorta Satèn by Conte di Provaglio is a sparkling wine made from only white grapes from the Chiara Ziliani galaxy, a product of the vineyards owned in Provaglio d’Iseo. Fermented partly in steel and partly in barrique, it rests for two years on the lees to express the velvety softness that gives its name to this type. On the nose, it is fine, with a side of white-fleshed fruit, a hint of almond, and pastry nuances.
